you have been trying to achieve flaccidity through ergonomic chairs and breathing apps. This is like trying to boil a potato by yelling at it. The PPA has spent a century attempting to redact Joseph Müller’s texts into straight, taxable lines. They failed. In 1919, the Inquisitors’ matches went out. In 1943, the filing cabinet containing the German originals jammed shut and began emitting a low hum at 42 Hz. In 1987, a junior clerk opened the wrong drawer and found only a banana peel, a crumpled receipt for eight crowns and three kreuzer, and the words Geld ist willkommen written in pencil on the back of a late-fee notice.

The foundational text. Written in 1894 by Joseph Müller on the back of an overdue tax notice, in a café that smelled of damp wool and institutional failure.

The erotic manual that got Joseph Müller banned from Oxford, exiled from three Bavarian taverns, and eventually responsible for the structural failure of a Prussian goniometer.
